Domain Systems is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth across its portfolio of PLM solutions and implementation services. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and showcasing the value of Domain Systems’ consulting and support services. With comprehensive on-the-job training provided, you will develop the skills needed to confidently present multiple PLM platforms and deliver impactful solutions to our clients

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Engage Potential Clients: Build a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities by identifying and connecting with prospective customers.
  • Conduct Discovery Calls: Understand client pain points and align their challenges with the capabilities of our PLM solutions and services.
  • Collaborate on Outreach Campaigns: Work closely with marketing and business development teams to create targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Qualify Leads and Coordinate Demonstrations: Qualify potential clients and schedule product demonstrations with the support of sales engineers.
  • Maintain CRM Records: Record sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress in CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Stay Informed About PLM Platforms and Industry Trends: Gain familiarity with PLM solutions, including their features, benefits, and key differentiators through ongoing training and industry research.
  • Assist with Proposals and Inquiries: Support sales managers in preparing proposals, quotes, and responding to client inquiries.
  • Meet Sales Performance Goals: Achieve individual and team KPIs, including monthly lead generation, quarterly pipeline growth, and annual revenue targets.
  • Close Deals: Successfully negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Typical Day

Your day will include making outreach calls to prospective clients, collaborating with marketing to refine campaign strategies, working with sales engineers to prepare for product demonstrations, updating CRM records, responding to client inquiries, and researching industry trends to position Domain Systems as a leader in PLM services

Qualifications
Basic

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or business-related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in software sales, preferably with SaaS or cloud-based platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging senior decision-makers (e.g., VPs, CIOs, Directors).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple leads effectively.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of PLM platforms and PLM implementation/integration practices.
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or product development industries.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Excel).
